Wotcher, guys! I'm Ari and I'm mostly an idiot and a major geek. There's no way around it. However, I'm an idiot and a geek who can't live survive much without her dog, her computer and her two major obsessions: Supernatural and Harry Potter. I like to abuse Microsoft Office a whole lot, as well as Photoshop. Writing and art are both hobbies I could never live without. I also couln't live without all the great nerds I met online (see Effulgent staff and administrator).

Artists hints and tips (I am SO not good at this)

- don't be afraid to try new things. Experiment! You get some really wicked stuff that way!

- don't be afraid to cock things up. That's the key to learning. It's how I learned and how I keep on learning.

- look up to an artist and set your goal to one day make art like his/hers. The effort and results really do pay off.

- keep an eye out for things that inspire you: music, fanfics, books. Whatever does the trick!

And for God's sake... Be sure to save your art and never close a piece after working on it for hours without saving it (headdesk. I do that on a regular basis)
