Hiya, I'm Jess! At the time of writing this I am 20 years old and am studying Biomedical Science at University. My favourite ever tv show is Buffy, but I also love Angel, Firefly, Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy, Bones, Moonlight....and many more! I didn't get into fanart until a few years ago, unfortunately my brain is very science orientated so my art skills still need improving...thats why Effulgent is so great in helping me.

Artists hints and tips

1. It's kind of obvious, but remember to SAVE at regular intervals..there's nothing worse that Photoshop going funny and you losing your work!

2. If you have created a piece you aren't sure if you are happy with or not, save it and dont look at it for a few days then come back to it with fresh eyes and you can see what needs changing.

3. Practice makes...well almost perfect! I've done almost 200 colourisations and I'm still improving my technique, so dont give up!

4. My favourite tools: Polygonal Lasso, Healing Brush and Selective Colouring.
