About The Artist

I have been online since 2004 with my own website, dedicated to the fandoms I love. I started by making music videos, which I still make, but worked my way into artwork. The site was started by my love for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but has currently been taken over by Supernatural, which basically rules my life. I love music and film and spend my spare time writing my own novels, editing video, making artwork, and hanging out with my pets and my husband. And I try my best to filter in my real job and working on my new degree.

Artists hints and tips

- BE YOURSELF!!! There's nothing worse than turning a hobby like artwork into a chore by trying to fit in and make something that you think others will like for that sole purpose. Work with what you love.

- Accept constructive criticism. It took me a long time to learn this lesson. We're all here to help one another and you'd be surprised how some criticism can really inspire you.

- Don't think your work isn't good enough. I hear this all the time from editors who won't enter at my awards section of my website because they think their work isn't good enough. We all have to start somewhere. There is stuff that I made in the past that I look back on and laugh. We all have that old work.

- Have fun with your artwork! If it gets to the point where it feels like true work, step away for a while.
